I Thought I Was Tired!

Although this time around I haven't felt as well as I did with my first pregnancy, all in all I do enjoy being pregnant. That doesn't mean that I'm not already counting down the days to meet my new daughter and be in control of my own body once again. I have less than twelve weeks to go until the scheduled c-section. Eighty-Two days to be exact (but whose counting). At this point he possability of me doing this (being pregnant) one more time is almost certain but after that I'm more than likely done. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever imagine being pregnant for 11 years of my life!

Why do I mention being prengnant for 11 years? Michelle Duggar is the reason! She is the mom of 17 from Arkansas. I remember reading an article about her last summer when she gave birth to baby#17 and thinking "Not me, No Thanks". Well she and hubby Jim Bob are once again in the news. Why you ask? Yep that's right she is preggers yet again! According to several internet sites that I checked out Michelle is six weeks along and due with this baby on New Year's Day (the fourth Duggar child to be born in the month of January). 18 kids and I get nervous thinking about the arrival of my second! This would not personally be a choice for me but obviously it is for some people. I wish them the best of luck with all of their children ranging in age from 20 down to 9 months. I'ld love to hear what you think and also know what number seems good for you. Have a great weekend!

this is weird...i was planning on posting about them this morning!! well thanks for doing the work for me LOL. i am a big fam of TLC and watch all their shows so i am all up to date on this family. if this is what they want to do then good for them. i was reading that they will continue to have kids as long as they can and since she is only 41 i am sure she has a few more years left! they will probably end up with 20 kids before she hits menopause.

personally i think they are nuts but that is because it is not normal to see a family where i live (NJ) doing this. i mean having a large number of children, home schooling, etc. this is just not the norm here. it seems like they can afford to take care of this large family so good for them! they seem to be ok with their hand me down clothes and driving around in an old bus and not having the newest stuff. if they were all living on welfare and kept on having kids then i would have a problem with that.

i plan on having 2 kids and hopefully i have enough energy to take care of them and enough money to be able to give them what they need in life.

Wow...18 kids!! I met a family with 12 kids last summer and I thought the same thing as you...I can't imagine being pregnant for 9 years (or however many years it would be!!). I am not a person who likes to be pregnant...although I do love the end result! ;) However, I do think that we will have at least 4 kids...so that means I have 2 more pregnancies to go. We will see though. :) I've always wanted a 'bigger' family (just not 17 or 18 kids). :) You'd have to drive a bus or something for your family vehicle then...

OK...but look at her...she needs a serious makeover...I watched the specials on this family on TLC..very interesting!

I would like to have 2-3 more, but i'm not sure DH is up for it!

Ok. Whenever I watch that show I want that many kids! I know I am nuts and I can barely handle one- but I think it owud be kinda fun. Pete says he would leave me if I ever said I wanted that many kids- that or he would tell me to move to Utah.

Oh boy! No way. I think 2 is enough for me definitely no more than 3. It takes a special person to have 18 children holy cow.

I just read about this family on another blog. I think that once the baby comes you will be see how much easier it is with two. Congrats--less than three months to go!
